The site is located at the center of historical Athens, right next to the New Acropolis Museum, the famous pedestrian walkway of Dionysiou Areopagitou and, of course, the Acropolis and Plaka.

The unification works of the archaeological sites, as well as the development of infrastructure (museums, metro stations etc.) have turned this already privileged suburb into a highly attractive Athenian site.
